Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using EVE-HUB ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Description of Service

EVE-HUB is a third-party tool for EVE Online that provides:

Planetary Industry production-chain and profitability planning
Market data analysis and watchlists
Industry calculations and manufacturing planning
Threat intelligence and system risk assessment
Route optimization with security filtering
Mining operation tracking
A free, fan-made companion combat simulator for practicing ship roles, fittings, damage types, and fleet doctrine

The Service aggregates publicly available data from EVE Online's ESI (EVE Swagger Interface), zKillboard, and other authorized sources.

EVE Online Intellectual Property

EVE Online, the EVE logo, EVE and all associated logos and designs are the intellectual property of CCP hf. All artwork, screenshots, characters, vehicles, storylines, world facts or other recognizable features of the intellectual property relating to these trademarks are likewise the intellectual property of CCP hf.

This material is used with limited permission of CCP Games. No official affiliation or endorsement by CCP Games is stated or implied. EVE-HUB is an independent, fan-made third-party service.

Voluntary Support

EVE-HUB may accept voluntary tips to help offset the costs of hosting, maintaining, and supporting the Service.

Tips are never required and do not unlock access, features, ships, modules, progression, cosmetics, rewards, favorable outcomes, or any other benefit. Tipping and non-tipping users receive the same access to the Service.

User Accounts and Authentication

To access certain features, you may authenticate using EVE Online's Single Sign-On (SSO) system. By authenticating:

You authorize EVE-HUB to access your character information and any scopes you grant
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your EVE Online account
You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
You acknowledge that we store encrypted refresh tokens to maintain your session

We use AES-256-GCM encryption for all stored tokens and implement CSRF protection on all state-changing operations.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the Service to violate EVE Online's Terms of Service or EULA
Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access and potential legal action.

Data Usage and Privacy

We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Market data, character information, and other game-related data are retrieved from CCP's ESI and are subject to CCP's own terms and caching requirements.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may:

Perform maintenance or updates at any time without notice
Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature
Implement rate limiting or access restrictions
Experience downtime due to ESI outages or other third-party dependencies

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Use at Your Own Risk

While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information:

All data is provided "as is" without warranties
Data may be delayed, cached, or outdated per ESI caching rules
We are not responsible for decisions made based on our data
Always verify critical information in-game before transactions
Calculations are estimates and may not perfectly reflect in-game reality

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF ISK, ASSETS, OR OPPORTUNITIES IN EVE ONLINE
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (WHICHEVER IS LESS)
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ACTIONS TAKEN BY CCP, INCLUDING ACCOUNT BANS

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EVE-HUB and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your violation of EVE Online's Terms of Service

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

Breach of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse of the Service or other users
Request from law enforcement or regulatory authorities

You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

The Service integrates with various third-party services:

CCP's EVE Swagger Interface (ESI):

zKillboard:

Provides threat intelligence data. See zKillboard

EVE Online Single Sign-On (SSO):

Required for authentication

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonable.

Additional Provisions

No Financial Advice

EVE-HUB provides informational tools only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. All decisions are your own responsibility.

Age Restrictions

You must meet the minimum age requirement to play EVE Online (typically 13+ with parental consent, or 18+ in some jurisdictions).

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and EVE-HUB regarding the Service.
