EVE-HUB ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service for EVE Online market analysis, threat intelligence, industry management, the fan-made On Grid companion simulator, and related features.

By using EVE-HUB, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our service.

Information We Collect

EVE Online Account Information

When you authenticate with EVE SSO (Single Sign-On), we collect:

•Character ID and character name
•Corporation ID and corporation name
•Alliance ID and alliance name (if applicable)
•Character portrait URL
•ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) access scopes you grant
•OAuth refresh tokens (encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage)

EVE Online Game Data

With your explicit permission through ESI scopes, we may access and store:

•Character skills and training queue
•Blueprint library (personal and corporation)
•Industry jobs and manufacturing activities
•Asset locations and quantities
•Structure access permissions
•Corporation blueprints, jobs, and assets (if you have director roles)

You can review and revoke these permissions at any time through the EVE Online Third Party Applications page.

On Grid Companion Simulator Data

When you use On Grid while signed in, we create and store simulator data associated with your EVE character identity:

•Simulated fleets, fittings, hull and module collections, and skill-training progress
•Daily simulation seeds, player action logs, battle outcomes, and after-action reports
•Simulator preferences and progression history

This is EVE-HUB simulator data, not EVE Online character progression. It does not change your EVE Online character, skills, ships, modules, wallet, or other assets.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use our service:

•IP address (used for rate limiting and security)
•Browser type and version
•Pages visited and features used
•Time and date of access
•Search queries and market items viewed
•Routing calculations and system lookups
•Saved fits, production plans, and PI layouts

Cookies and Session Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session:

•Session cookies (JWT tokens) for authentication (7-day expiration)
•CSRF tokens for security protection
•Local storage for UI preferences and recent searches
•Browser notifications permission (optional, for mining alerts)

Data Retention Periods

Account Data:Active + 90 days after last login

Market Data:7 days (hourly), 90 days (daily)

Threat Intelligence:12 hours (live data)

Saved Configurations:Until you delete them

Usage Logs:30 days (security/debugging)

Your Data Is Not For Sale

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Period.

When you explicitly share data with other users (e.g., public fits, production plans)

•Disable browser notifications in your browser settings

Opt-Out Options

•Use EVE-HUB without logging in (limited to public features)
•Disable browser notifications for mining alerts
•Clear cookies and local storage via browser settings

Children's Privacy

EVE-HUB is intended for use by players of EVE Online, which requires users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.

International Users

EVE-HUB is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

By using EVE-HUB, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by:

•Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
•Displaying a notice on our homepage or in-app notification
